Triple D Vitamin Gel improves on Eggs-Port’s original formulation to deliver Vitamin D quickly and efficiently. Vitamin D deficiency leads to poor mineral uptake in the body and consequential skeletal problems, low growth rates and poor immunity. Research indicates that vitamin K plays an important role in bone calcification and strengthening.
Vitamin deficiency is a particular challenge for camelids, especially cria born in the autumn when natural sunlight levels are low.
A regular feed of vitamin gel, given by mouth is the easiest and kindest way to ensure every animal receives the vitamins they need. Eggs-Port Triple D Vitamin Gel is available in either a simple 60ml dial-a-dose syringe or in a more economical 300ml tube (needs a calibrated applicator gun).
Suggested feed rate : 5ml/25kg bodyweight.
Note : All our products have a long shelf life, without refrigeration, even after opening.
Please be aware you must not give excessive levels of Vitamin A to camelids. Triple D Vitamin paste has been developed to avoid any such issue.
